like my ponies spotted and mountain broke..................

want my coffee dark and thick.................

like a great maduro cigar..............dark leaf and hand rolled just every so tight..........

and i want my beers rich......deep ........complex..............

mothers milk..........from kinsdton, ny.........an awesome beer........

and negro medelo ...........from mexico ...............the richness of palette that this beer gives to fine food has few peers in the beer world............... a totally underrated beer......
but burgess despised ease, and where the fallen timber was thickest and the slopes 60 degrees, there you would find burgess and his tight little pony picking along....from " pony tracks"...a book dedicated to the fellows who rode the ponies that made the tracks by frederic remington.

Ayyy wey! Penche forgot about the bohemia cerveca wey! Horola wey! Simone! Viva la cervecas de mexico!

LOL!!!...sorry couldn't resist. That was some mex-tex slang. LOL. After living in Texas you pick up plenty.

I just noticed you guys drink some pretty strong beers. Damn. I think the strongest I ever had was bud ice. LOL.

Anyone ever hear of or try heavy gravity, or something like that. My brother who outweighs me by like 20 lbs says after two he is feeling it. Also says it tastes like bathroom floor...nasty.

The best readily obtainable light beer I've had is Modelo Especial. It is so smooth that if I don't pay attention I'll drink twice as many of them as I intended. I really miss the old beers that came in the short fat returnables like Hudepohl, Weidemann's and the old formula Strohs and Iron City. On a summer day when I'm tired and sweaty after 4-5 hours of yard work, I enjoy an ice-cold Weidemann's. It's got to be cold enough to give you and ice-cream headache, though.

I just had a couple bottles of a new, to me, beer. A Friend of mine just got back from a month long business trip to Belgium. Knowing my fondness for various beers, he brought me over several four packs of a beer he discovered in the pubs while over there in appreciation for some leather work I had done for him, Delirium Tremens. A pretty painted bottle and they come in a four pack. I have the day off, putzing around the house and so stuck some of them in the fridge this morning to get good and cold. That is a pretty damned good beer. Stout though, I think it runs about 10% alcohol. Too expensive for an everyday beer but pretty good stuff.

Sure hope that name isn't prophetic.
