Pretty Bows

Postby Steve Milbocker on Sat Feb 06, 2010 12:57 pm

I've never ran across these bows before, they sure are some lookers. Does anyone here shoot one? By the looks of the grip I think we'd get along just fine. :D

norm johnson has been turning them out for quiet awhile now...........they shoot sweeeeetttttt...........and he has few peers when it comes to eye candy....................
but burgess despised ease, and where the fallen timber was thickest and the slopes 60 degrees, there you would find burgess and his tight little pony picking along....from " pony tracks"...a book dedicated to the fellows who rode the ponies that made the tracks by frederic remington.

When it comes down to pure looks, I have never seen a better looking bow. I've heard many folks say they shoot good, but then again, I've heard that about almost every bow made....

I have fondled them-shoot them and even owned one for a short while. Then someone made me an offer I could not turn down. Lookers and shooters

When I think of quality workmanship I think Blacktail and Rose Oak, My goal is to be competitive quality wise with those two. They are consistantly top quality. I still want to find out where they get the multi wood striping. I find it hard to believe that they have enough time to glue up all the striping. I've done some myself and its a real pain. There must be someone somewhere that manufactures it. I've thought maybe for guitars ect.

He's got a good eye for color combos and the fit and finish on the one I saw in person was perfect. A lot of those bows made out of hundreds of little pieces glued together end up almost giving me motion sickness or acid flashbacks and remind me of Ronald McDonald, for some odd reason. The Blacktails are very pleasant and easy to look at.
