My Selfbow with self nock arrows.

The arrows are made of cedar and spined 45-50#, and are they ever sweet looking, and with the Zwickey Eskimo 125 gr glue on broadhead they weigh in right at 495 gr total. We thought with the 45# Selfbow, that I might use a 145 gr or 150 gr but I will see how these fly with the 125 gr BH's on them.

Thought I would post some pics of these, as these tested so nicely, and flew like a bee straight to honey.

That is sinew wrapping them, and before I'm done I will have a whole quiver full of those arrows.

Very nice !
When you take your kid hunting and he says thankyou and tells you how much he loves being in the woods with you, your day just isn't going to get any better than that.

Nice kit. Love red barred fletching.

River cane, imported bamboo at the home center I'd image would spine great for the bow too, if you had an appetite for such. Cane is mother natures perfect tapered shafting, very forgiving if you have the patience to sort, straighten them and fit nock and foot inserts.

Did you craft the bow too?
