yellowheart tends to be a slightly lighter shade of yellow. osage over time will darken and turn brown in the sun yellowheart wont.

Thanks Angel, But!!! Although I can build a somewhat descent lookin bow... I must admit, the skill of building a great shooting bow are still a ways away!! I mean they shoot good and will kill ( I've proved that to myself) Now I want to build a great shootin bow.... Still a work in progress!!!!! Kevin

Man that is a sweet looking bow you got there. It actually looks "effortless" due to the smooth lines.
